Since speaking out publicly, the bullying treatment has only escalated. I was not provided with a valid reason for it, but the Village President used taxpayer resources to demolish my handicap ramp. He did not get a court order or even seek written approval from the board. I have also received additional certified letters accusing me of violating additional ordinances.

It is not possible to run a small business in this sort of hostile environment. If you’re even slightly not with the program you are considered an enemy by Don Goncher, and he will use any means to go after you. I believe he was personally embarrassed by the fact the video of the village board meeting went viral, and so he’s been targeting me actively ever since. This sort of petty personality does not belong anywhere near the levers of power.
